Treat Colic- effective symptom treating.

November 19th, 2009 ~ No Comments

A colic cure? Well not really. The day that there is a cure for colic it will be a major noise, and every doctor will know about it.

Do you think there can be a cure for colic? I personally don’t think there will ever be a colic cure and here is why.

My belief is that colic is predominantly due to brain development in infants. (If you want to know why I think that then you will have to read my book about how to stop a crying baby) It stands to reason that the cure will have to affect this brain development problem, and right now no physician in their right mind would mess with giving a baby a drug that affects the brain.

What shall we do? Nothing – Let it run? Well you could, but you would cheating yourself out of seeing your baby happy.

What you should do is what any caregiver does when there is no magic pill, you should treat the symptoms and make the patient as comfortable as possible. It’s just like treating a sniffle, or a broken finger – there is no magic pill, but you can reduce the symptoms to make life manageable.

OK so lets get started, first you need to know what to treat. If you are a parent with a baby that has colic then you pretty much will be focusing on the main symptom. The CRYING!

As it turns out, that is all you need to treat at first. So this will be simpler than you thought.

OK thats it you’re done

Just kidding.

How do you treat crying? There are 5 steps you must know, that when used in tandem will put your crying baby to sleep in a few moments. In fact I normally only use 3 of the 5 steps used together and that is enough assist in calming baby and making baby sleep most of the time.

I will give away Step1, Step 4 and Step 5 to you here now. But to get the really juicy steps you will have to go to my colic website and get the info for free.

Step one: Bony Contact.
Contact to the front and back of baby simultaneously by
using contact with your own skin. This step is first because it works
in with step three. I was originally going to put this in as step three, but because it is
so basic and really is required for the other actions that i decided to make
this step 1.

STEP 2 & 3 omitted.

STEP 4: Place baby in swaddle. There are Videos on my site on how to do that.

STEP 5: Dummy or Pacifier – people think this is the best they can do, in these steps it is actually the worst one, and I have Proof It will actually increase the amount of time for baby to sleep when you use a dummy(Pacifier).

There is of course much more detail in my free ebook. All the steps occupy A large majority of the book.
